Feature Upvote’s most popular integration is our Slack integration. So it made sense to look at how we could improve it.
Until now, we didn’t offer any way to control exactly how the Slack integration worked. It was time to change that.
You can now control what gets sent to Slack. The options you can configure are:
- Whether to send notifications of new suggestions and comments to Slack, or only new suggestions.
- Whether to abbreviate notifications of long comments.
If you are already using our Slack integration, you don’t need to do anything to get these new settings.
We’ll keep sending exactly what we used to send to your Slack channel. But when you are ready, go to your Slack integration’s settings, and you’ll be able to finetune what gets sent.
