You can now enable voting directly from the front page of your feedback board.
Although this has been a popular request for a long time, for a long time we resisted adding it.

Why did we resist adding this highly-requested feature? We felt that if they could vote directly from the front page, some of your contributors would vote on many suggestions without taking time to read the descriptions or comments.
If you can vote from the front page, the natural tendency is to only read the title, think to yourself, “that sounds great!”, and then vote.
But sometimes when you to read a suggestion’s full details, you realise that it is not suggesting what you thought it was. Or after you’ve read some of comments, you learn something about the suggestion that makes it impractical or a bad idea, and so you decide not to vote on it.
However many people asked us to allow voting from the front page. So in the spirit of “listen to your customers” we’ve made it something you can optionally enable.
By default, your users can’t vote directly from the front page – you’ll need to enable it. We’ve put instructions for how to enable voting from the front page in our help centre.
What I like about using our product ourselves is that we get to understand dilemmas like this that affect our customers when they use Feature Upvote.
