Two ways to export your Feature Upvote data

Last updated:

There are now two ways you can get your data out of Feature Upvote in a form suitable for getting it into whatever other tool you’re using, such as a spreadsheet.

First, there’s the full data export. This has been available for a long time. In your board settings, you have an option called Export, and there you can export all the data as either CSV or Excel.

Both the CSV and the Excel options give you the same data – all the suggestions, all the comments, and all the votes.

Second, there’s the new “export what you see” option. This is a new way of exporting that we’ve recently added and it has more flexibility. You’ll find it available in your board’s moderation tool (where you can see all the suggestions listed in the tabular format).

There’s a new “Export x rows” button shown next to the filter buttons.

Whatever you see with the current filter is what gets exported. Click the export button and you’ll immediately get a CSV file that contains all the suggestions that match what’s currently on the screen.
