GDPR-friendly feature request tracking

Last updated:

If you are looking for a way for your customers to suggest and upvote ideas to improve your product AND your company needs excellent GDPR compliance, then Feature Upvote is the product for you.

Plenty of our competitors claim to be GDPR compliant. And probably are.

However I think we’ve got the best GDPR-compliant solution for EU-based teams.

Here’s why:

  • We’re GDPR compliant, both to the letter and in spirit.
  • We’re based in Spain, an EU country.
  • Our data centre is in Ireland, also an EU country.
  • As much as possible, we use EU-based sub-processors. We only go with non EU-based offerings when we can’t find an excellent EU alternative.

Now, being GDPR compliant doesn’t mean you have to be based in the EU. And nor does it mean that the data centre has to be in the EU.

But it does make EU compliance simpler. And we’re less likely to accidentally leak personal data in ways we don’t intend.

We work with a Germany-based lawyer whose specialty is helping SaaS teams achieve GDPR compliance. Our lawyer makes sure we are doing what we’re supposed to – and not doing what we’re not supposed to.

We’ve also adopted an company attitude that says data protection is important to us and to our customers.

Our GDPR approach has won us customers who need 100% GDPR compliance, such as a large German bank, French government departments, and private companies throughout Europe.
